Tuesday’s Tip: Tools of the (Kitchen) Trade

I am giving you a few tips of kitchen tools today that helped me prepare Thursday’s post and that you should have in your kitchen.  First, if you are spreading batter in a cake pan or spreading frosting, the best thing to use is an off-set icing spatula.  The angle of the spatula makes evening out batter and spreading frosting over a cake much easier.  Also, the best tool to use to cut cookie bars in a straight line is a bench scraper.  Come back on Thursday to see what I used these tools for!
