Thirsty Thursday: Raspberry Peach Smoothie Bowl

If you’ve been on instagram, you know that decorative smoothie bowls are all the rage and some of them are so intricate that they look like pieces of art.  My smoothie bowls are typically the same smoothie with a few chia seeds, flax seeds, nuts, and fruit sprinkled on top.  I received 200 Best Smoothie Bowl Recipes in the mail with a ton of suggestions of smoothie bowls and toppings, so I couldn’t wait to try a few.  Not only was today’s smoothie delicious, but I’m pretty impressed with my decorative abilities!  I hope you give the smoothie and design a try.

1/4 Cup Milk of choice (almond, soy, skim milk)

2 TBP Honey

1/2 TSP Ground Flax Seeds

3/4 Cups Frozen Raspberries

3/4 Cups Frozen Sliced Peaches

Optional:  1/4 Cup Protein Powder of Choice

Toppings of choice.  I used:

Hemp Seeds

Sliced Almonds

Frozen Raspberries

Crushed Dark Chocolate

Combine all ingredients (minus toppings) in blender and blend until smooth

You can add more liquid if you like a thinner texture

Pour into bowl and garnish with toppings of choice
