McCann’s Irish Oatmeal Breakfast Cake

Do you realize Saint Patrick’s Day is next week!!  Honestly, where is this year going?!  Today I’m giving you a great breakfast recipe from McCann’s Irish Oatmeal.  I typically eat oatmeal as overnight oats or cooked with a bit of cinnamon and milk, but today I’m serving it up as a breakfast cake.  It is the perfect amount of healthy (oats, milk, and egg) and sweet (sugar and brown sugar).

2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
