It’s almost Turkey time! Can you believe Thanksgiving is about a week away? I can’t! But, if you haven’t started planning your menu, it is definitely time to start! Today’s tip is the main attraction for Thanksgiving day, the turkey! When I was growing up, I never understood why cooking the turkey was such a big deal. Everywhere I looked, the turkey had to be basted and watched overnight. I don’t remember my mom ever pulling an overnighter for our turkey, but it always turned out amazing. Here is my mom’s tip for you…have the butcher debone it for you! It doesn’t take as long to cook and it is much easier to cut!
