Happy New Year! After a relaxing visit home and a few extra days off from posting, I have decided I have deprived you enough!
Since I consumed a good amount of my mother’s cookies, cakes, and pies over the holiday, today’s tip has to do with baking. When you bake cakes or cupcakes, make them a day in advance, wrap them in tin foil or plastic wrap, and put them in the freezer overnight. Then, take them out the next day, unwrap, and frost. This will prevent the frosting from crumbling the warm cake or cupcakes, and you will be able to frost like a pro.
Stay tuned until tomorrow for an AMAZING cake recipe to go with this tip!
And as always, stay hungry…
