I am a big fan of kombucha which is a sparkling fermented tea with probiotics and I often drink it at night as an after-dinner drink or during Dry January when I’m trying to cut down on wine. So when the people at KÖE Organic Kombucha asked if I wanted to receive samples of their shelf-stable canned kombucha, of course, I jumped. They sent me Raspberry Dragonfruit, Strawberry Lemonade and Blueberry Ginger, but KÖE also offers mango and lemon lime flavors.

Each can also only has 35 calories and while other kombuchas are known for having sour, vinegary flavors, KÖE’s offerings are fruit-forward and refreshing. (My favorite flavor was the Blueberry Ginger.) I really like the bright colors, unique packaging, mild taste and the fact that KÖE is shelf-stable. It is one of the only kombuchas that comes in a can so you can shop and take it on the go without worrying that the probiotics won’t survive. Even though it is shelf-stable, of course I’d suggest chilling it before drinking.
