Thirsty Thursday: 4th of July Dogwood Punch

Today I’m back with another festive recipe for 4th of July. It’s probably why people love celebrating the 4th the most — drinks! This recipe is called Dogwood Punch; I think because of the Dogwood trees that bloom in spring. While it isn’t spring, I think this is a festive holiday drink that you can make a pitcher and let your guests serve themselves. The original recipe calls for just strawberries and lemons, but to make it more patriotic, I’ve added blueberries and raspberries. Follow the recipe below!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle sparkling rosé
  • 3 cup strawberry lemonade
  • 1/4 cup grenadine
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • sliced lemons (optional)
  • Mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Place ice and 2/3 of the fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher

  • Pour strawberry lemonade and grenadine over ice
  • Top with sparkling rosé and stir gently to combine

  • Split the remaining fruit in glasses and pour punch over
  • Garnish with mint, if using
