Another Tuesday, another tip about salmon. As you can tell, I’ve been grilling a lot of salmon and love it! For the first few times, I simply placed the salmon on tin foil on the grill for easy cleanup and so the salmon skin wouldn’t stick to the grill. But, I found a new way to cook my salmon that infuses flavor into it and doesn’t allow the salmon to stick. Follow the steps below!
Lemon, Lime, Orange, or citrus of choice
Salmon
Seasonings of choice
Grapeseed Oil
Slice citrus in 1/4 inch thick “coins”
In a shallow bowl, drizzle oil, add citrus and toss to coat both sides
Season salmon and drizzle the top with oil
When grill is hot, add citrus in a single layer
Top citrus with salmon and cook until salmon is cooked through
As an FYI, some of the citrus began to burn after being on the grill for about 15 minutes, so I reserved a few pieces. When they began burning, I replaced them with the uncooked ones.
