One of my favorite gifts this year was one that I gave because I wanted a personal touch. Since I wanted to connect it to my love of food, I made a gift that my friends and family could use in their own kitchen. I made homemade lemon salt, which smelled amazingly fresh and bright and is a great addition to salad dressings, fish, veggies, or even chicken. Follow below for this two-ingredient salt that you can give for a gift or as a party favor!
1 Cup Salt
3 Lemons

Lemon Salt Ingredients
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Add salt to a bowl
Zest lemons over salt
Stir to combine and break up if any zest is stuck to each other
Juice 1 lemon and stir until combined
Pour lemon onto rimmed cookie sheet and spread to an even layer
Bake in oven for 30 minutes
Once salt is cooked, break salt apart, if in clumps
Place in mason jars or baggies
