Tuesday’s Tip: Smoothie Packs

I’m all about the meal prep, especially when it comes to breakfast.  The less time I have to spend getting ready in the morning, the more time I get to sleep.  I typically eat eggs during the week, but I like to switch it up with some yogurt, oatmeal, and smoothies from time to time.  Today’s tip helps me cut down on the amount of time I spend making my morning smoothies–I make smoothie packs!

For the packs, simply slice veggies and fruit of your choice–it’s great it you have bananas that are going to go bad or spinach you don’t have a recipe for–then, add 1 TBSP nut butter of choice. Close the packs, freeze, grab one out of the freezer in the morning, then add milk and any other “fixings” (like cinnamon, vanilla, hemp seeds, or chia seeds), then blend and enjoy.

Below I used spinach, bananas, grapes, strawberries and almond butter for 4 packs!, but try some different combinations!
