I have prepared you for an epic menu for Valentine’s Day! I gave you a hash brown spinach quiche for breakfast, red wine spaghetti and asparagus for dinner, a few cocktails, and today I have the final and sweet finish…dessert! And this cake will take you approximately a minute and a half to prepare…it’s a mug cake! It took me longer to take the pictures, upload them, and create this post than it did to make and consume today’s dessert. And, an added bonus, there are only 3 ingredients. I hope you give this sweet dessert a try for your sweetie.
2 Eggs
2 TBSP Cocoa Powder, split
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
Whipped Cream and toppings of choice
2 microwaveable mugs
Crack 1 egg in each mug

Eggs Cracked
Add 1 TBSP cocoa powder and 1/4 cup sugar to each mug
Whisk to combine until batter-like consistency
Microwave each mug for 50-60
Let cool for a minute and top with whipped cream and toppings of choice

Mug Cakes!
I did think it was a touch too sweet, next time I am going to add just under a 1/4 of a cup of powdered sugar. Have you made any mug recipes before? Would love to hear and/or see them! Leave them in the comments below or email me at ashley@newsforchews.com!
