First, I want to say Happy Birthday to my daddy!!! I wish I was at home to celebrate with you. Because it is his birthday, I’m dedicating today’s recipe to him. We both really love eating oatmeal for breakfast. We either make baked oatmeal or heat it up in the microwave, which is pretty basic, so I decided to switch things up. Today I decided to make an oatmeal smoothie, which tastes just like the oatmeal recipes we typically make. I had a cup of Modern Oats in my pantry and decided to use these because they have nuts and seeds mixed in. I thought this would add protein in addition to the yogurt. If you don’t have these oats, you can throw in a few nuts or a tablespoon of nut butter into the smoothie. If you like oatmeal, you will love this smoothie.
