With Christmas only a few days away, I have a last minute decor idea for you that is very easy and only has 1 ingredient and 2 tools. Follow the directions below for a festive and fun DIY candy cane tray!
Preheat oven to 350
Place parchment paper in bottom of baking dish (can use circle, square, and even a flat cookie tray
Arrange candies on parchment paper (about half of an inch apart)
Bake in oven 7-12 minutes, or until the candies have melted together
Remove from oven and let cool
Remove trays from baking dishes and place in area to decorate (you may want to cut a piece of parchment paper the size of the trays to place them on. The trays can get sticky).
Do not place anything hot on the trays, as they could start to melt again. And, be careful! These can easily break. I would place them in one area and not move them.
(P.S. Come back tomorrow when I tell you how to make the hot chocolate dipping spoons and chocolate covered pretzels also pictured above!)
