Even though kids went back to school on this coast already, the weather still feels like summertime, and from what I understand the east coast is still very humid. What better way to cool off and enjoy Thirsty Thursday than with a frozen treat?! These can be made kid friendly (no alocohol) for an after-school treat or adult friendly (with booze!).
Follow this recipe from the people over at Bare Organic Mixers for a refreshing low calorie treat.
12 fresh mint leaves
12 fresh basil leaves
1 3/4 C Bare Organic Lemon Drop Mixer
1 1/2 TBSP agave
1 C crushed ice
2 TBSP rum (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until the leaves are chopped
Pour liquid into popsicle molds (or dixie cups with popsicle sticks) and freeze until solid
