Kalamata Olive Turkey Burger

Another week, another turkey burger!  As I said two weeks ago, I love to change up recipes and come up with creative burgers so they don’t get bland and tiring.  While in France on vacation, olives and olive tapenade were abundant, so I thought I would put those inside of a burger.  And, boy did it come out delicious!  Follow the recipe below for a kalamata olive turkey burger!  

Ground Turkey

1-2 TSP Cayenne Pepper

2 TBSP Olive Tapenade

2 TBSP Kalamata Olives, shopped

2 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce

Combine all ingredients into a bowl

Using hands, mash together all ingredients until well mixed

Refrigerate mixture for about 30 minutes, then form 4 equal patties

Heat grill pan to medium-high heat or outside grill

Grill patties for 4 minutes on each side, then turn heat to low, cover, and continue cooking until patties are cooked through, approximately 5 more minutes

Serve with side of choice and either on a bun with desired toppings or over a salad

If you don’t like Kalamata Olives, you can add any olives you want and take out the olive tapenade.  I would suggest adding Greek Yogurt, Mayo, or mustard to add a little moisture to the burger.  HERE is the last turkey burger I made for you.
