I love a good mimosa (actually a glass of champagne with just a splash of juice), but for Easter I wanted to make a fun and interactive mimosa bar where my guests could make their own mimosas with the juice and amount they desired, and with the fruit garnishes of their choice. For the festivities, I bought a few of my favorite bottles of champagne, juiced a few of my favorite juices, and cut fruit. I hope you give this mimosa bar a try for your Easter festivities!
The juices I used were:
Pineapple, Mint, Lemon
Orange, Turmeric, Apple
Grapefruit and Mint
Apple, Lemon, and Ginger
Celery, Orange, and Lime
(for the juices with mint, simply juice the other ingredients and let the mint leaves steep in the juices for about 2 hours, or the juice has the amount of mint flavor you desire)
The garnishes I used were blueberries, raspberries, grapes, strawberries, and apples. I used fresh fruit, but you can use frozen as well!
If you are in a bind or don’t have a juicer, you can always go to your favorite local juice bar and pick up a few of your favorite flavors!
Stay thirsty…
