I saw today’s tip on National Geographic’s instagram and I couldn’t wait to share it with you! When I start my day with egg whites or add egg whites or yolks to a recipe, today’s tip is going to help me separate these two much easier, since half of the time I end up having to fish the yolk out with my hands. All you need is an egg and an empty water bottle! Follow the pictures below!
Crack an egg into a bowl
Pinch or squeeze the empty water bottle
Place the water bottle opening on the egg yolk
With the water bottle opening over the egg yolk, slowly let go of the pinched water bottle
This will cause the egg yolk to be sucked into the water bottle
How easy is that!?!? Now, go chug a water bottle and give it a try for yourself.
