With temperatures soaring over 90 degrees yesterday in LA, nothing tasted better than starting the day with a cool, healthy, and refreshing shake! I typically do not use a recipe and always forget to write the recipes down, but yesterday’s turned out so well that I not only wrote the recipe down, but I also made it again today! Follow the recipe below and enjoy.
1/2 Large Granny Smith Apple, cubed
1 Scoop Protein Powder
2 TSP Flax Oil
5-6 Small Frozen Strawberries
1/4 Cup Frozen Blueberries
2 TSP Greek Yogurt
1 /2 Cup Water
1 TBSP Hemp Seeds
1 TBSP Chia Seeds
1/2 TSP Cardamom
Combine the first 7 ingredients in blender and blend until smooth
Once smooth, add remaining ingredients
You may have to add more water if the mixture is not blending
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
