Happy National Homemade Cookie Day!

Happy National Homemade Cookie Day!  Today there isn’t a tip, but a recipe for a great gingersnap cookie!  Thought this would be a perfect recipe with fall under way!  Hope you enjoy!

2 1/4 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 cup canola oil

1/4 cup molasses

1/4 cup pancake syrup

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 Tablespoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 egg

Preheat over to 350 degrees

Into a large bowl measure all ingredients

Beat on low with mixer

Beat ingredients until well blended, occasionally scraping bowl

Roll cookie dough into teaspoon-sized balls

Roll balls in sugar (Dough will be soft)

Place on parchment-lined cookie sheets

Cookies rolled in sugar and decorated

Bake 10-15 minutes, until lightly browned on bottoms
