Sorry I have been MIA for a bit…a NYC work trip, a fashion show, and a little bit of rest and I am back! And, just in time to give you some Halloween inspired eats! I have been finding a lot of inspiration on Pinterest and I wanted to share them with you in case you are having a Halloween party! Today’s post is all about the easy appetizers!
Make a Cheese Candy Corn Platter from your favorite white, orange, and yellow cheeses. Brie or Goat Cheese for the tip, Cheddar for the middle, and Swiss, Gouda, or Havarti Cheeses for the end!
Here is one for your punch bowl! Simply take a rubber glove, fill it with water, freeze, and once frozen entirely, cut the rubber glove off. Then, add your frozen ice hand to your Halloween Punch.
Make the above carrot pumpkin by placing 3 ramekins of white dip and surrounding them with carrots in an oval shape
Add a smile with zucchini, squash, celery, pepper, cucumber, or other veggie of choice with a contrasting color
For the stem, use broccoli, or another veggie of contrasting color
Here is another Halloween-inspired recipe that is cute and easy; Apple “Smiles”
Peanut or almond butter
Slivered almonds or pumpkin seeds
Cut apples in fourths and core
Cut apple slices again in an eye shape
Put a dollop of peanut or almond butter and add “teeth”
The last appetizer I have for you is a cute carrot hand in hummus!
Hope these recipes give you a little inspiration for your Halloween party!
