Tuesday’s Tip-How to perfectly cut a Cake!

For those of you who didn’t read my posts about the wedding cakes my mom made over the holidays, read about the cake HERE and the frosting HERE.  What you didn’t see is the large sheet cake my mom made in addition to the 3 beautiful cakes that were on display.  Here is a tip for how to perfectly cut a cake, cookie bars, brownies, or any dessert made in a square or rectangle pan.  Before you cut, use unscented/unflavored floss to mark the cake/bars/brownies/dessert where you want to cut.  This will ensure that when you cut, you will cut in a straight line!
