Tuesday’s Tip-How to Keep Avocados Green!

How many times have you gone to the fridge wanting to top a salad or taco or make guacamloe with an avocado you have already cut into, and you open the container and find the avocado a gross brown?  Major bummer right!  Well, with today’s Tuesday’s Tip, Bon Appetit magazine will help prevent or prolong the browning process.  The article says to dunk the avocado in cold water, yep it’s as simple as that.  They say they don’t know, and even some food scientists don’t know why this works, but it does.
