Spicy Turkey Meatballs

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and had some great eats!  While I didn’t have a home cooked meal, I had a lot to give thanks for…safe travels, amazing friends, great times, and a field hockey tourney victory!  (Shout out to my JP’s!)  So, after we have finally all recovered from our Turkey Day food coma, here is a great turkey meatball recipe.  Similar to my turkey meatballs with mozzarella (recipe HERE), this is a spicy version!  Follow the recipe below and enjoy!

Preheat oven to 350

1 Pack (20 oz) Ground Turkey

1 Pack (10 oz) Thawed Frozen Spinach

2 Eggs

1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs–I use Ezekiel bread crumbled in a food processor

1/2 Cup Shredded Parmesean

Black Pepper, Onion Powder, and Garlic Salt

1 1/2 TSP Ground Red Pepper

1 1/2 TSP Red Pepper Flakes

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl

Spicy Turkey Ball Ingredients

Combine all ingredients-will work best if you use your hands!  Remember, they are the best kitchen tools!

Mixed Ingredients

Form the mixture into meatballs

Uncooked Meatballs

Cook meatballs in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes

Spicy Turkey Meatballs

Serve and enjoy.  I served mine with mashed cauliflower and roasted kale.
