I love french fries! But, I don’t make them at home…I make something that I think is better. A healthier version and easier way to make “fries”. I call them my sweet potato NOT fries because they are baked instead of fried in greasy oil.
Black Pepper, Onion Powder, and Garlic Salt
Preheat oven to 375
Cut sweet potato in half, then in strips
Lay sweet potato strips on rimmed cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil
Drizzle sweet potatoes with olive oil (about 2 TBSP)
Season with black pepper, onion powder, and garlic salt
Cook in oven for 25 minutes or until sweet potatoes are tender
Serve with ketchup, ranch, BBQ sauce, or dipping sauce of choice!
(If you want a sweeter version of these, you can season with cinnamon and nutmeg instead of black pepper, onion powder, and garlic salt).
