My grandmother was a great baker and chef, and most of my memories growing up included baking and cooking with her. One of my favorite recipes to make were her brownies, the perfect fudgey consistency. Since I haven’t made desert yet for my blog, I decided to make her brownies first. Enjoy!
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate (2 ounces)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350
Grease 9×9 pan
Put butter, chocolate & sugar in a pan on low heat on the stove
Let melt, stirring constantly so batter won’t burn
Take off heat
Stir in flour
Add eggs, one at a time
(Option: stir in 1 cup chopped nuts)
Bake 25-30 minutes
Cut immediately
