The Finally Re-Opened Favorite

If I could round out my perfect Charleston meal, with appetizers from FIG and dessert from High Cotton, the main meal would be concocted at the French-inspired Chez Fish.  Found at 3966 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Chez Fish was the previously mentioned finally re-opened favorite, after the restaurant took a three year hiatus.

My mom, dad, and I made the chef and server’s job very easy during this meal.  Three people.  Three orders of the local flounder in a lemon caper sauce with julienned carrots, peppers, zucchini, and onions.  Typically also served with rice, the veggies are tasty enough to nix the rice and order double the veggies.  With a forkful of the flounder, veggies, and generous sauce, every bite was a perfect one.  The best part about this dish is the fact that you don’t feel stuffed when you finish!!

Not only is Chez Fish a great place for a stunning meal, if you prefer to prepare the fish at home, you can pick up a local fresh selection in their fish market in the front of the store.
